Privacy Policy
How Sentways collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our platform.
Information we collect
Sentways (Paweł Adamajtis) operates Sentways and handles account, support and service-administration information. For workspace customer content, Sentways processes information to provide services to the workspace customer; the customer remains responsible for its own purposes, notices and lawful instructions.
Account and workspace information
This can include your name, email, phone number, account preferences, password hash, workspace details, team memberships, connected accounts, subscription records and support requests.
Customer content
The features you use may process contacts, messages, attachments, templates, flows, appointments, CRM records and related metadata. Passwords are hashed; they are not stored as readable passwords.
Operational information
Server and application logs, authentication events and activity records support service operation and troubleshooting. These can include identifiers and network information; they are not described as anonymous data.
How we use your information
We use the data we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process payments, send invoices, and manage your subscription
- Respond to support requests and security incidents
- Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and security threats
- Send transactional emails (receipts, security alerts, product updates you opted into)
- Comply with legal obligations including tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requests
We never sell your data or your customers' data.
Sharing of information
Information is passed to providers as needed for the services you use:
- Messaging: Twilio is used for the connected Twilio WhatsApp service. Meta and other messaging integrations process information when those channels are connected and used.
- Email: service email is configured through Resend SMTP. Sentways also has an Emailit integration for campaign email.
- Payments: the payment provider selected at checkout processes payment information. Support for a gateway in the software does not mean every customer uses it.
- AI and connected services: when enabled, the selected AI provider can receive prompts, relevant conversation content and other inputs needed for the requested feature. Calendar, store and other integrations receive the information required by the features you connect.
- Hosting and operations: the hosting infrastructure processes stored application data and logs.
We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address abuse and protect rights. This page does not claim that all AI inputs are automatically stripped of personal information. Contact legal@sentways.com for information about providers relevant to your use.
Cookies & tracking
Sentways uses session/security cookies, preference storage and a consent-preference cookie. Some features also use browser storage and referral identifiers. See the Cookie Policy for the verified names and purposes. Connected third-party services may use their own technologies.
Data retention
Retention depends on the data category, the account or workspace lifecycle, operational settings, and applicable legal or accounting obligations. The application supports configurable audit-log pruning and expired-workspace cleanup; these settings do not establish a single deletion deadline for every customer.
Deleting an active record does not necessarily remove copies from existing backups immediately. Backup retention and restoration must be considered separately. We do not promise a universal 30-day export window, 90-day erasure deadline, seven-year audit retention or ten-year billing retention.
Contact legal@sentways.com to request access, deletion or information about retention for your records. Records subject to a legal retention requirement or a dispute may need to be retained.
Data security
Sentways uses HTTPS for web access, password hashing, workspace access controls and application-level encryption for selected sensitive fields, including provider credentials. This is not a claim that every database field, file or backup is encrypted.
No system can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected security issues to legal@sentways.com. This page does not represent Sentways as certified under an external security standard.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority.
Email legal@sentways.com. We may need to verify your identity. Where your information belongs to a business customer’s workspace, that business may need to handle the request. Requests are subject to applicable legal requirements and deadlines.
International transfers
Connected messaging, email, payment, AI and other providers may process information in countries other than your own. The locations and terms depend on the providers involved. Sentways does not currently promise a selectable EU, US or India hosting region through this policy.
Contact legal@sentways.com for information about relevant processing locations and transfer arrangements. This policy does not assert that a particular transfer agreement has been executed.
Children's privacy
Sentways is a business tool not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, email legal@sentways.com.
Changes to this policy
Material changes to this Privacy Policy will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
